Oyster spat needs structure to land on. Their favorite thing to land on are other oysters. This is a huge reason for the need of oyster reef restoration.. so the oyster babies have something to land on and grow. We get wild oyster spat that will land inside the grow bags or on gear. This oyster attached itself to one of our mainlines and was growing into the rope along with some barnacle shell decor. The wild oysters are there, they just need our help for permanent homes. #texasoysterfarming #oy
