Kojima isn't scared to put his name on the cover, and take the responsibility for the entire product. People may call that "egotistical", but I see it as Kojima having balls, and announcing to the public that he is behind the product before it even comes out.

Instead he completely keeps Hayter in the dark and chooses to hire Sutherland. Mainline:- Kojima was just as abusive to Hayter as Konami was to KojiPro.

Apr 8, 2019 · Hideo Kojima is neither a particularly great game designer (compared the likes of Shinji Mikami or Hidetaka Miyazaki) nor a particularly good movie director. What he most definitely is, though, is an auteur with a vision and ability to convey it.

Dec 13, 2023 · Hideo Kojima is on some missions's "written by" credits but unlike Shuyo, Kojima never appears alone. There's always a co-writer. This leads me to my real question: Did Kojima actually write way less of the actual scripts of all these games than we thought, and is he actually just a "story/synopsis writer"? and not an author ?

Feb 2, 2012 · Kojima also has some pretty homoerotic scenes in MGS4. The whole fight with vamp is pretty sexual, including the portion when Vamp pulls the sword through Raiden and himself. I agree that it's just Kojima's way of including the espionage/sex motif. Hetero or homo, Kojima's quite effective at portraying sexuality in a subtle, yet effective, way.

Aug 30, 2021 · Seeing Kojima post his Walkman daily on Twitter encouraged me to go and get my own about a year ago. Tho I did get the NW-A55 because the battery life is much better than the 40th anniversary unit he has.
