ZBLL - Speedsolving.com Wiki
Oct 14, 2023 · ZBLL is a step in many methods which involves solving the entire last layer in one step, assuming that the edges are already oriented. This is part of the ZB method , but it can be useful for any other method which leaves the edges of the last layer oriented after F2L is solved (such as the Petrus method , or ZZ Method ).
ZBLS - Speedsolving.com Wiki
When combined with ZBLL, there are 795 algorithms. Only a handful of cubers have learned ZBLS in its entirety. VHLS , a two-step method that first makes the last pair and then inserting it while orienting edges, is a subset of ZBLS corresponding to just one of the F2L cases.
Is learning full ZBLL worth it? - SpeedSolving Puzzles Community
Oct 19, 2017 · On the other hand, ZBLL is always at least as fast as OLL+PLL or COLL+EPLL (except for recognition time, but that's also a problem with OLLCP anyway). It's simply not possible for a two-look system to beat ZBLL—otherwise the ZBLL alg would just be the two algs chained together, and then ZBLL would at worst be on equal footing.
Petrus Method - Speedsolving.com Wiki
Aug 28, 2024 · Substeps like EJLS, WV, COLL, ZZLL, and ZBLL can be used to finish the last layer in a single algorithm; Instead of starting with a 2x2x2 block, the 2x2x3 block can also be built using a 1x2x3 block followed by a Line of edges, also called a "Stripe". The first three steps can be combined into one EO223 step. Petrus as a Beginner Method
ZZ method - Speedsolving.com Wiki
ZZ-blah: The last layer corners are disoriented during insertion of the last slot allowing the last layer to be solved using the Pi and H subsets of ZBLL. MGLS-Z: During last slot, only the edge is placed. LL corner orientation and the final F2L corner are then solved in one step using CLS. Finally the solve is completed with PLL.

ZBLD - Speedsolving.com Wiki
ZBLD uses ZBLL algorithms for Blindfolded Solving especially 3BLD. It has 2 variations, ZBLD 3-cycle and ZBLD 2-cycle. The benefit of ZBLD is the fact that the setup moves are the same as conventional methods, and it combines multiple steps into one step.

Is Yiheng Ending CFOP? | SpeedSolving Puzzles Community
Feb 21, 2025 · ZBLL seems more consistent compared to CFOP, as there are less skips in ZBLL. Click to expand... Fair point and agreed that ZBLS to ZBLL has less skips but that's because at it's heart the main difference between the ZBLS/ZBLL & CFOP is that with CFOP you're thinking in terms of 4 Steps: Cross, F2L, OLL, & PLL, if you get lucky, either a OLL or ...
EPLL - Speedsolving.com Wiki
EPLL is also used in many other methods, sometimes as a stand alone substep, like in COLL but also as a sub group, for example in ELL or ZBLL. See also PLL , CPLL
