This and the Armored Razzashi Raptor are the new mounts which will drop from Zul'Gurub in patch 4.1. They are replacing the old Swift Zulian Tiger and the Swift Razzashi Raptor which were drops from the old Zul'Gurub, which aren't avaible to players anymore.

While the shoulder enchants, Zandalar Isle, and the voodoo piles were not added back to new Zul'Gurub--there are two similar, but not identical, mounts players can farm: Swift Zulian Panther and Armored Razzashi Raptor.

Use: Teaches you how to summon High Preist Thekal's tiger. Summons and dismisses High Priest Thekal's tiger. "The last known Zulian tigers were kept by High Priest Thekal, deep within Zul'Gurub. They are said to have been hunted into extinction."

The Swift Zulian Tiger and raptor are two very rare mounts that drop in Zul'gurub. Players come to Zul'gurub, still to this day in search of these mounts. At least when you farm for these mounts you can kill two birds with one stone.

Jun 8, 2023 · ZG was originally a raid that dropped all 3 of the mounts you listed. The raptor and panther both dropped from bosses and the bear was part of a time-challenge. When the raid was converted to a 5-man dungeon, the mounts were removed (kinda) from the game.

I am an avid mount collector and have several notably rare ones. However, the Swift Zulian Tiger was the one that I've wanted the most for many years. I distinctly remember the announcement that they were getting rid of the original Zul'Gurub raid, and all the loot along with it.
