Ram not working stably with xmp profile enabled, please help.
Oct 1, 2020 · 2, XMP certified RAM is original Intel Specification , it's perfectly suitable for AMD systems. AMD motherboards use DOCP to translate the Intel XMP profile to a one that is compatible with it. 3. Rather than wait 2, 3, 4 or 8 hours, run Memtest86+ after dinner... then check it when you get up in the morning. 4.
Can I still use Intel XMP profile if ram in bios only shows EXPO
Feb 1, 2025 · On a asrock taichi z890 mobo and I currently have DDR5 g. Skill 2x32gb flare X 5 6000MHz. RAM was released in 2023 and only listed expo at the time on packaging, dunno if that matters. I saw same brand and line of memory in store with packaging mentioning support for intel XMP though so I thought maybe my older one is still good.
EXPO or XMP for AMD config - TechPowerUp
Apr 14, 2023 · I just said that if it was the case then maybe XMP isn't too bad for me, especially if the more aggressive timings we get from EXPO are compensated by the lower CL on the XMP module I found. PS: now as an engineer, I have worked with DRAM interfaces (kinda long ago) and training can take some time, depending on the search algorithm and target ...

Upgrade from 13700k to 9800X3D (RAM issues?) - TechPowerUp
Nov 14, 2024 · just because a mfg has tested a certain mb-ram combo to be working, is a guide for buyers, not a guarantee (that it will work as specced). @londiste just because ram is on the QVL list, doesn't mean you can turn on expo/xmp and be done.
[RAM] DDR4 3200 Mhz speed not working - TechPowerUp
Nov 3, 2019 · I've got an AsRock X570 Steel Legend mobo and a Ryzen 7 3700X CPU. I've updated the mobo but my RAM still runs at 2133 Mhz according to task manager. If I enable XMP profile in the bios, the speed goes to 3200 Mhz (in bios and task manager) as it should. However, I get BSOD after a couple of minutes. For now, I've turned off the XMP profile.
intel 13/14th gen fast RAM experiences: >7,000 MT/s is XMP stable!
Dec 13, 2023 · A while back with 13th gen I had seen that ~7000 mt/s RAM made a pretty decent difference, both hpc tasks and gaming benefit. So I built an hpc rig at work with a 13900ks and 4x16gb of DDR5-7200 CL34, turns out with 4 sticks it's not stable above 6400 mt/s. It's nbd, it's still a blazing fast...
Is 6000MHz C36 DDR5 memory too much for 12600KF with XMP?
Mar 26, 2024 · "6000MHz C36 DDR5 memory" is often too much for the ram itself. There are 2 types 6000MT/s. One is CL36, the other is CL30. CL36s are usually made of Samsung dies. They barely reach 6000MT/s CL36. That's why I say it is too much for the ram itself. I highly recommend to get CL30 ones.
