We have played them a lot together here in our little lunchtime jam sessions and have a pretty good grasp of the comparisons but I thought it would be useful to put some numbers behind it and move from feeling to fact.

Apr 26, 2023 · X30 is a BIG guitar with a big and bold sound and does well at a bluegrass jam if you pick hard. X30 also is a real armful, even with the ergonomic bevels and curves. (I am built like an aging NFL lineman).

The X30 has this robust bass that is jaw-dropping. It also has the ability to press a great deal of volume without losing clearness in the sound. And truly, one of my favorite parts about the X 30 is how comfy it remains in my hands.

Mar 23, 2005 · Try it LeCab with the Catharsis IRs or the Recabinet demo with say the Mesa (Ghandi) impulses. An amp sim based on the Engl 530 preamp. Well suited for high gain metal type stuff, but can do a really nice crunch, and a cutting dirty clean if you back off the gain.

Now you have a whole new set of tools at your fingertips to help you practice, perform and jam: built-in FX such as chorus, reverb and distortion, and you can play back loops or tracks from your acoustic guitar. The X30 is also available in a 12-string model!
