Nov 7, 2018 · You may have to wick up. I went with the guide provided by TFC, using a small wood wick with a 4 oz. mason jar and the flame was just about nonexistent. I've got a few of these hanging around. I need to melt them down and start over with larger wicks and toss the guide out of the window as far as the wood wicks, sizing, and containers.

Team cotton. Wooden wicks are a little tricky, and the whole point of having a candle is being able to light it consistently. I have made a few stinkers in which the cotton wick didn’t stay lit for long, which is on me, but it just feels like I’d rather go with something that’s way more likely to work

Dec 16, 2021 · You are using too many wicks for your vessel. I personally use glue dots to secure mine. Super easy to place and stay well. The most important things are to make sure you're using good quality wicks and the right size! I 1,000% recommend Wooden Wick Co and to use the below chart to make sure you're using the right size of Wick each time.

Maybe include a candle care card when you ship an order that goes over wick trimming and how long to keep the candle lit each time. I’ve also seen people pour wax over the wooden wick when filling the vessel.

Sep 24, 2022 · AFAIK, wood wicks are patented tech. That greatly limits the supply of wood wicks on the market. It also puts some limits on suppliers' ability to stock wooden wicks. There's more competition among traditional wick makers, which means prices are more likely to be stable for the consumer. With that said, wood wicks are novel and cool.
