Alexander N. Green [1] (born September 1, 1947) is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative from Texas's 9th congressional district since 2005. A member of the Democratic Party, Green served as the justice of the peace of Harris County, Texas, from 1977 to 2004.. Throughout his tenure, Green has focused on issues such as abortion rights and expanding social programs.
