Taking learning outside the classroom and into nature, WAB Wild has a strong environmental focus incorporated into all its programs.

Nov 23, 2024 · In this three-day WAB WILD Outdoor Education Trip, students will stay in yurts at the education center, learn rock climbing & abseiling skills and techniques, navigation, core-camping skills, and skills in effective decision-making.

WAB Wild trips are often the highlight of the school year for middle school students and a chance for them to learn about outdoor safety, core camping skills and Leave No Trace principles. These camps are part of the curriculum, and as such, attendance on these trips is compulsory.

WAB Wild offers MS students an outdoor education experience in Grades 6–8. Through this three-year program, students gain competencies in navigation, radio communication, first aid, kayaking, canoeing, rock-climbing and abseiling.
