The main challenge is getting rid of the terrible laws in your economy and keeping your prestige high enough to avoid being relegated to an Unrecognised Minor Power.

If you only end up taking one part of Holstein thats ok, since the direct land border means the next war will be trivial. Invite Russia, Britain, and/or Sweden to help you.

Victoria 3 is anything but a cash cow, it has very poor DLC sales and a low player count, and no game company is willing to put up indefinitely with a money pit that it's other titles have to subsidise. Not only is it bad for bussiness, it's also bad for morale. Other Dev teams are not going to be happy if they have to work to prop up a dead game.

Oct 30, 2022 · Ports are extremely important in Victoria 3, as they are the only way to trade. If you can not trade because you are landlocked or a Western power took your port, you will have to industrialise by first meeting the demands of your population for furniture, clothing etc.
