Scion is a more lightweight option. The key feature of it are the vampire racials - such as vampire orcs gaining +50 Health and +50% Health Regen. Scion is part of the Simonrim Suite (look at the author of the mod to see the rest of it) and is designed to be paired with the rest of the mods.

Also, using your vampire powers in public would expose you and everyone had either a positive, negative, or neutral view on vampires. Added something like a vampire racism to the game.

I don't like to use the Fine moodlet unless the sim is sad. So it can be toggled on/off Vampire immersion, where confessing you are a vamp affects relationships.

Only time I wouldn't recommend it is if it's your first vampire playthrough. Then it's a toss up. If vampires always seemed boring, it's the thing that will make them fun.

Jan 12, 2017 · I finally figured out that the GoG version of the game comes with the mod loader, so if you install the old Camarilla version, it messes up. NOW, the problem is that the Camarilla mod page made a "mod loader friendly" version, but when I try to download it, it gets flagged as having a virus/malware.
