The Volkswagen Drag Bus, a Hot Wheels diecast since 1996, takes a victory lap as our first sELECTIONs winner of 2024. In addition to the casting, RLC members chose Spectraflame teal for the body and Real Riders 5-spoke mag wheels for the front and rear.

This casting depicts a Volkswagen T1 bus heavily modified for drag racing, with a V8 engine and "stinger" exhaust in place of the rear seats. The Volkswagen Drag Bus designed by Phil Riehlman has his initials, PR, cast into the bottom of the rear differential.
