Mar 30, 2023 · Only guns proofed in Germany have these markings, which is NOT a requirement if the guns are being sold outside of Germany. VP9 pistols are 100% German-made but they are now proofed in the U.S. to cut down on time between production and availability. This change was made due to demand and the fact that the VP9 is by far the best-selling HK pistol.

Jun 7, 2015 · There is a light point of resistance about halfway through the VP9's take-up, but I am 99% sure the disconnector isn't involved, since the resistance is linked to the point when the trigger bar meets the firing pin block lever, which would naturally create a bit of resistance as the lever is moved to the side.

Nov 28, 2017 · Specifically, VP9 is certified with 3.1 Impulse ammunition, and SFP9 is certified with 2.6 Impulse, CIP, NATO & TR ammunition. Both models are approved for SAAMI ammunition pressures, but the SFP is not rated for +P or +P+ ammo. VP9 = 753g / 26.56 oz SFP9 = 710g / 25.04 oz (both with empty magazine)

Mar 7, 2022 · The VP9 might be easier to find accessories. The mags are cheaper, and you can easily put an optic on it, but the USPs lines can not be beat. When you pick one up it feels like a tank in the best way possible. I have a VP9 Tac OR, an HK45 tac, and an MK23 and the USPs are still my favorites.
