Strike Fighter Squadron 83 (VFA-83), also known as the "Rampagers", are a United States Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter squadron stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana. They are a part of Carrier Air Wing 7, their tailcode is AG and their radio callsign is Ram.

VFA-83 flew missions over Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo, helping to enforce the NATO and UN mandate in that war-torn region. Several weeks later, the RAMPAGERS found themselves flying OPERATION SOUTHERN WATCH patrols in response to Iraqi aggression.

In August 2022, Cmdr. Moreno reported as the Executive Officer of VFA-83. In November 2024, Cmdr. Moreno assumed command of the “Rampagers”.
