Apr 13, 2011 · This is the most beautiful Univox UB250 bass amplifier in the world. I upholstered a 1972 cabinet in the coolest looking deeply embossed faux alligator material in a gold / brown color. I did the same to a 1975 head. I didn't modify the amplifier, so it's still just 18 watts RMS.

Apr 13, 2022 · I'm working on a Univox UB-250 solid state amp. Just recapped it and added a new power cord. The amp has a noticeable "hissy" noise floor. A friend of mine had one of these back in the 80s and 90s and I absolutely recall this same noise in his amp year ago. Attached is the manual with schematic and layout.
