Apr 1, 2021 · use the ultra m.2 slot (M2_2 on this motherboard). my inland premium ssd worked, you just have to force the PC to recognize/boot it from the USB windows 10 media installation. drivers will be wonky, so you have to get the driver from asrock website to probably even get internet to work hope this helps

Jan 16, 2023 · Currently, I'm having an ASRock B560m pro 4, and I'm planning to upgrade with a 2 TB NVMe (Gen 3x4) on the Ultra M.2 slot that is currently free on the motherboard. However, I've been told that it will cause the gpu to perform slower as the slot is using power from the PCIe (i'm not really expert, so i don't really understand).

Dec 17, 2022 · I'm a bit lost sorry. Am currently in the process of moving to a new pc and my m.2 works fine in my old motherboard (asrock fatal1ty b250 gaming k4) in the ultra m.2 slot. I now tried plugging it into the new motherboard (asrock z790 pro rs) however it only has hyper m.2 inputs and my m.2 doesn't appear in the bios.

Aug 25, 2020 · It does match. "Ultra M.2" is BS marketing without sense, reason or anything at all. Ultra M.2 is what Asrock calls the NVMe M.2 slots. This A2000 is a NVMe SSD and only fits in there. Jun 10, 2022 · ultra m.2 is just a brand name, it doesn't mean anything directly, only asrock calls it that, if you want info about the performance of the slot read the motherboard manual and see the speed of the port, e.g. pcie 3.0 x4.
