Aug 7, 2020 · Most USB-C PD devices do support a 12V profile, especially if they also have Qualcomm Quick Charge support (which does use 12 V, at least up to version 3.0). But since it's an optional profile, there are devices which forgo it.

Easy way to check: if the power source supports both USB-PD and Qualcomm Quick Charge (2.0/3.0 and/or 4.0+) on its USB-C port(s), then it most likely will have 12V, because QC needs to have 12V alongside 5V and 9V.

Dec 1, 2020 · I'm after a USB-C version that requests the 12V PD setting and then has a + and - wire on the other end that I can solder to a different connector/device. Has anyone found something like this? Any help is appreciated.
