The University of New Mexico logo is a bold, collegiate mark rooted in the history of the University. The letter mark, which became the official UNM logo in the summer of 2017, is a refresh of an older interlocking "UNM" design which was a campus favorite for years.

The visual aesthetic of the UNM brand is inspired by the campus itself. The stucco architectural texture, dramatic shadows, and vibrant color palette bring the feeling of being on campus to print and digital design.
