Luitenant-kolonel Tom Bilo is commandant van de Special Forces Group sinds juli 2011. Voordien bekleedde hij verschillende functies bij de paracommando’s en in de militaire vorming. Hij was onder andere hoofdonderrichter aan de Koninklijke Militaire School.
