Apr 5, 2022 · In my opinion, the series will end with a bittersweet ending for sure. Nene = it's obvious that at the end of the current arc they will save Aoi, so Nene's lifespan will be short again. In other words, Nene will be still between life and death.

Aug 7, 2020 · You can see in the ending song that Yashiro was walking and all with Amane/Hanako but the last part where her fish form just goes outside the red zone while Hanako stays at the red zone breaks my heart for some reason.

As for the series ending, I say bittersweet at best: the way the Manga is going, Nene and Kou will be safe and keep living while Hanako and Mitsuba will either pass on (likely scenario) or stay school mysteries bounded to the school forever.
