BYD introduced the K9MD with an extended range at the end of 2019. Available alongside the K9M in North America, the K9MD has a 446 kilowatt hour battery capacity offering a range of 203 miles while the K9M has a 313 kilowatt hour capacity offering a range of 157 miles.
