Feb 14, 2025 · Checked the voltage on the battery with the tender hooked up and it was at 13vdc, disconnected the voltage starting coming down almost immediately, was at 11.7vdc after about 3 mins or so. Ran jumper cables to the battery and was able to start up the slingshot, voltage with it running was 14.5vdc (that reading was on the dash).

Dec 26, 2014 · Is it somewhere between the passenger seat and the console? If there isn't an OBD2 port, where is the other diagnostic port? I'm curious since any hand held programmer like a Diablo, Hypertech, etc. would need this port. Not to mention, it would be nice to use our automotive OBD2 tools to work on the Slingshot.

Feb 20, 2025 · The only fender that really matches the body lines/look of the Slingshot is the factory Polaris fender. Yes it's expensive compared to the others but you get what you pay for. Slingshot is running an accessory promo right now. Talk to a reputable dealer and take advantage of the current deals.

When the Slingshot was first introduced, the 2.4L GM Ecotec engine was a very important factor for many owners since parts were pretty much available anywhere. The 2.4L Ecotec has a long service history and a pretty good reputation for bullet-proof reliability. Those were important factors in my purchase decision.
