SWISS SIG 553P STOCK ADDITION > SIG Sauer - AR15.COM
Nov 2, 2023 · I'm looking to possibly SBR my Swiss Sig 553p in 2.23. I found this online, but wanted to hear from the experts if there was a better option. I'd prefer a folding stock if I can find an easy installation.

Feb 9, 2018 · My Sig 556 layout for controls in my opinion is not as good as an AR15, (factory selector is not as good) but it is better than most and the guns are fairly well made and comfortable to shoot. LV's video on the Russian pistol 553 - love it!
SIG 553, what RDS height did you go with? - AR15.COM
Dec 1, 2024 · The big 550/551/553 thread seems to have vanished. Those with the pic rails, what mount height did you go with? I would like to be able to use the diopter sights through the mount, Scalarworks is the only company that makes a 1.42.
Sig SAN 553 owners, what is the consensus? Got It. - AR15.COM
Mar 24, 2017 · The 553 is outstanding, as are all Swiss SIG 55x. The 553 is my favorite SBR. Diopter sight 553s are far less available than railed 553s and $27xx is a very good price for one. Buy it immediately and submit a form-1 to SBR it.
Opinions on SWISS SAN/SiG/JDI 55X Series of rifles - AR15.COM
Aug 29, 2022 · I think you are confusing the Sig USA 556 series with the Swiss Sig 551/553. Sig 551/553 imports have never, AFAIK been $1000. Even when the Sig 556 came out they were still going for $3k.

Feb 4, 2023 · Most of the M+M and all of the SigSauer USA 553 imports are 1/2x28. The exception to M+M was the very first 50 that came with a plain unthreaded muzzle. The SigSauer USA imports were leftovers that were intended to be imported by M+M.
Sig 553 Pistol - Spare parts & SBR engraving - AR15.COM
Jan 27, 2015 · The 553 uses the same bolt, bolt carrier, cocking handle as the 550 and 551. Here is a write up I did detailing the 552 and 553 operating system: Sig 552 vs 553 operating system As for engraving, I would do it on the right rear side or on the bottom of the left bolt rail. This is where Mike Otte engraves the 55x series. Parts I would buy:
First Swiss Pistol and first buy for 2015 - SIG 553
Mar 4, 2015 · I'll eventually get a SIG P210 to accompany my SIG Sauer P210 Legend, however, I simply had to have the SIG 553 pistol. Thanks to Bush Daddy, there hadn't been a 100% foreign made military semiauto imported into the USA since 1989. A handful of semiauto SIG 550s made it in before the ban took...

Oct 20, 2014 · The Sig 553 was a redesign of the 552, with the aim of simplifying the design and making it operationally more like the 550/551. It uses a modified return spring, but the gas system and bcg are analogous to the original 550, unlike the 552. It has replaced the 552 in Swiss Arms AG product line (the current manufacturer of the above listed rifles).

Feb 17, 2024 · Pics from yesterday. I only had time to go to my indoor 25 yard range. On the left is the 553R pistol with a brace. On the right a 551 with a Swiss aluminum lower. Targets have 120 rounds each at 25 yards (553 left, 551 right). I had to slightly zero both for windage, not by much.
