Jan 11, 2024 · The AKG C410 preamp, which is housed in the XLR connector, is not used when connecting to a Shure transmitter. Solder the wires from the headset directly to the four pin TA4F connector which mates with the Shure transmitter connector.

Apr 12, 2015 · The Audio Technica Pro35 has to be compared to the SM98 and the other crappy clip mics (AKG C519...). If you need to have more brightness, not so much definition but in-face sound and your sound guys are almost deaf... the Beta98 is a good choice.

Oct 7, 2022 · The core of my setup is classic Shure..... SM57s on snare and toms and a Beta 52A in the kick......they are classic for a reason, they work and they are reasonably priced. I have an AKG for a room mic and have been impressed as well. Both companies make quality mics.
