Feb 14, 2009 · As a general rule, I tend to leave molts in the tank and they're usually gone within a day or two. Though occasionally I'll pull out pieces of crab molts (emerald and porcelain) since the claws and head piece don't ever seem to go away.

Jul 9, 2024 · Her shrimp seems to molt at about the same rate as yours. From the size of the exoskeleton you are holding, I think they are about the same size. I would assume molting rate slows down as the shrimp gets larger.

I have periodically used my syringe to shoot food in it's lair but have not seen much action from the shrimp (goby happily takes food of course), but I have spotted it in the lair.
