Jan 1, 2010 · he confirm this is samurai steel. you can see the grainy in the blade like a damascus. very intereting type of steel shiva makes and he is not making knives like he used too. this is a scimitar style blade by shiva ki designed by jr(is what shiva told me) you wont see another one of these again comes with 3 sheaths.

May 9, 2000 · The Shiva Ki performed well too, despite the short and thick blade. Both knives remained shaving sharp. I don't have to explain you that a Fikes is a very well made knife, ergonomics, fit, finish, they are all great. :thumbup: The Shiva Ki has a perfectible finish, from the pics I saw on the net I imagined it would be nicer.
