Apr 26, 2019 · The Honda motorcycle wings logo is based on Nike the Greek Goddess of Victory and is said to symbolize strength, speed, and victory. My guess is the logo on the Shadow in question is a stylized double headed eagle symbolizing power and domination.

The logo represents the bike brand which is fully known as Honda Shadow Spirit of the Phoenix. I used Google translator and the link in the old thread is a dead link.

Sep 19, 2012 · There are also some years where the Shadow logo is a metal emblem, stuck on top of the tank. I've seen people use dental floss to "cut" that type of emblem off, then use WD-40 to clean off the residual glue.

Sep 30, 2012 · I am in the same boat here too, the skulls on my take are decals also. You can see the Shadow logo underneath it. I am hesitant on removing them because i dont wanna mess up the factory decal. Plus I am worried about the paint underneath, It wont be faded but the rest of the tank will. If i sell the bike the new owner can remove if they want to.

Apr 27, 2010 · I was really surprised when I looked at it how nice it looks. There is the road rash on the backside of the mirror and on the left shadow logo on the tank which you can kind of see, but the dent on the left side of the tank - you have to be looking almost level with the logo and straight at the side of the tank to notice it.
