Mar 9, 2023 · You're going to devalue it by the cost of a Sig 556. Unless you don't want a 16" barrel, a basic early 556 will do all the same things. The 553 has a 4-pos capable setup which is meant to be surpressed....it's already an 8.9" barrel so no point going shorter.
