After changing the time (single player mode) to 12 afternoon and closing and restarting, stopped the graphical "ghost" bug. So i believe its related to shadows to the time of day logging in. Will need to test more times to confirm. Hope this helps if anyone else has this issue. Although will not help those in multiplayer as they can't set time.

Dec 19, 2023 · Seems to be a bug since .95 where dragging items from a chest directly into the hand slot causes the item to disappear. Happened 4 times so far in multiplayer with various types of held items by simply dragging/dropping. Ive also seen another player describing the same issue in global chat. Thanks!
