Aug 24, 2023 · Hornby’s newly-tooled ‘OO’ gauge LMS-designed 50ton bogie bolster wagons has progressed to the Engineering Prototype (EP) stage of the development process. Intended for carrying lengthy loads such as rail and track panels, the 62ft design continued into the BR era, with examples of the ‘Salmon’ wagon still in use today on the rail network.
