May 16, 2007 · There has been a lot of misinformation for many years concerning the W10 and W11 SR20DET Avenir motors. Many motors/turbos have been sold as W11 when they were actually W10. This wasn't a deliberate attempt by the seller to deceive the buyer, it was only out of the gross misinformation that's out there about these motors.

The SR20DET is a 2.0 L (1,998 cc) straight-four four-stroke gasoline engine that is part of the SR family of engines from Nissan, produced from 1989 to 2002. It is a turbocharged version of the SR20DE engine and is a replacement of the CA18DET engine.

The W11 model was introduced early in 1998. Initially available with the 1.8 L QG18DE, 2.0 L SR20DE, 2.0 L SR20DET or the 2.0-litre CD20ET2 turbo-diesel. Although the turbocharged two-litre, 16-valve, four-cylinder SR20DET is known as a rear-wheel-drive-focused motor thanks to its association with the Nissan Silvia, for the first couple of years of production, this wasn’t the case at all.

Sep 15, 2014 · I ended up finding a sweet W11 Avenir engine with T25 Ball Bearing turbo, going to build my 95 LSD transmission since they are impossible to find here locally in Toronto. I wanted to ask having the turbo setup as a U13 Bluebird
