The SR20DET is a 2.0 L (1,998 cc) straight-four four-stroke gasoline engine that is part of the SR family of engines from Nissan, produced from 1989 to 2002. It is a turbocharged version of the SR20DE engine and is a replacement of the CA18DET engine.

The S14 SR20DET features a T28 journal bearing turbo and 370cc side feed injectors with a MAF based fuel injection system and direct coil on plug ignition rated at 217 crank HP. The S15 SR20 receives an upgraded GT28 ball bearing turbo and larger 440cc side feed injectors with a 247 crank HP rating in stock form.

Dec 23, 2009 · I would stay away from anything FRAM. There is a s14a being after and a s14b being before. Slight differences in wiring and such and turbo is a hybrid ball bearing. The easiest way to identify an s15 sr20det would be by the turbo since it is fully ball bearing.
