Feb 16, 2023 · The s13 chassis 200sx was actually only ever hatch and 1.8 CA18DET. 240sx was s13 and 14 chassis and both had 2.4 KA24DE. The s13 variant was a hatch, coupe or convertible but all had the same pop up light front end as the 180sx. S13 is the chassis code but colloquially refers to the coupe variant (ps13). The 180sx is s13 chassis based too (rps13).

Jun 22, 2022 · S13 is the generation year of the car. Not the year, just the generation. The year is mostly irrelevant since the 180sx was produced until 1998 in Japan, but it's still an S13 despite the fact that the S15 was released around the same time.
