Ruh created a unique animated calligraphic projection to be displayed in a year-long exhibition in Vienna, Austria

Ruh was honoured to receive the prestigious award for 'Islamic Arts' category for contributions to the Islamic Economy at GIES in Dubai. He was presented the award by his Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai.

Ruh was interviewed and featured as a Muslim artist in the popular BBC documentary ‘The Hidden Art of Islam‘. The documentary also features Ruh’s ‘basmalah’ art piece in the intro sequence and cover.

Jude Modern is an evolution of the original Jude Script, developed by Ruh. As the script was adapted for various commercial and personal projects, it naturally transformed into a more modern variant.

Ruh was featured again in the second edition of the Arabesque by Gestalten. The book can be purchased here . Arabesque 2 is a collection of recent cutting-edge work by young designers and activists from the Arab world and Iran.

Ruh developed a custom Arabic and Latin typeface as the logo and supporting graphical elements that completed the overall brand identity. Along with the branding, Ruh also developed the packaging, store signage, photographic and interior aesthetic direction.
