Nov 28, 2022 · I wrote a few articles ranking my personal favorite skins from worst to best for Rakan, so I thought I'd share them here. Let me know what you think! I'm not entirely sure if these kinds of posts are allowed on the subreddit so do feel free to remove or let me know, but any support would be appreciated!

elderwood rakan is my favorite 🥺 all chromas are so cute. but yeah invictus is his best he looks SO handsome, the wings when you hit your Q and the dark rush animation with his ultimate are chef kiss

Just curious to know what the community thinks is the best Rakan skin, especially after the release of Star Guardian. Personally, mine would be: Cosmic Dawn - the go-to skin for me, does what a skin should do and be an upgrade of the base. Star Guardian - don't normally like SG skins but I really like the colour template and the VFX.

Aug 24, 2021 · The mutual dance between Rakan & Xayah has better animated choreography in SG, but I think the Elderwood skin looks better on both at every other part of the game: aesthetics, character model, ability/base animations, etc.

May 8, 2022 · I definitely prefer Elderwood Rakan, for so many reasons tbh. In general, I really think it's his best skin and really the only one I'll rock on Rakan. It looks the best imo and has clean animations. Plus it's got tons of chromas to choose from, so you can literally get just about any/every color. The spells are so nice.

Sep 1, 2021 · Default Rakan is already too close to the Phoenix theme. They should've made "Brave Dragon Rakan" where he's purple (like the other Dragon skins), to match with Default Xayah. Not to mention that both Phoenixes and Dragons are based on Chinese folk creatures. It makes perfect sense.

Oct 16, 2021 · As a main I think the best skins are: Star guardian and SSG. Then: Sweetheart, Elderwood and a bit lower IG. Cosmic Dawn rakan is awesome but this skin is looking a bit old and low quality apart from cape. This skin would be like one of the best rakan skins if it would get a small rework but now it is low as Sweetheart rakan.

Sep 1, 2021 · Also if they want Rakan skins to sell better they prolly need to adjust his look closer to the SG one and his original concept art, where he looks cooler. if it's about money, just make him look a bit cooler with the nice longer hairstyles. Yeah that would be putting time and effort into Rakan which they clearly do not want to do lmao.
