Parkzone Radian. - RC Groups
Oct 20, 2008 · Glad someone finally found the Radian! We're pretty excited to announce this one. It uses the same brushless motor and 30A ESC as the ParkZone T-28 and Corsair, so it has very strong climb performance. The L/D is surprisingly good, especially when using a lighter battery like the 1300 mAh pack supplied with the RTF package.

Nov 17, 2010 · Like the original Radian, the Radian Pro also comes equipped with a powerful 480-size 960Kv brushless motor system that can catapult it to altitude in seconds. Its airframe is constructed from the same tough Z-Foam™ material and has been reinforced with fiberglass blades in the fuselage and wing to reduce flex.
ParkZone Radian Pro BNF Review - RC Groups
Feb 24, 2011 · The Radian Pro slows down considerably when the flaps are deployed. @3800915:Flaps deployed. Crow mixing will slow the Radian Pro even more. This is where the flaps drop and the ailerons raise, creating even more of a drag-inducing speed brake. When crow is enabled the Radian Pro slows to a crawl in a landing approach.
Parkzone Radian Pro vs E-Flite Radian - RC Groups
Feb 28, 2016 · Gives me the info I needed to make an educated decision. I like the fact the the Eflite Radian is easier to fly and better lift but like the advantages the PK Radian offers with the added ailerons and flaps.. If I had the money I would start with the Eflite and move to the Parkzone Radian after I gain more experience.
ParkZone's Radian 2.4 GHz RTF Powered Sailplane Review
Mar 11, 2009 · The Radian is exemplary of all things good in powered three-channel gliders and trainers: slow in flight, visible, predictable, stable, hand launch-capable, easy to land and it is mildly aerobatic. Add that it’s a true blue RTF that requires about 30 minutes of building and you have a plane that provides a quick path to instant gratification.

Original Radian Vs. Second Gen. Radian - RC Groups
Jul 27, 2021 · To my surprise the second-generation Radian weighed 52 grams (0.12 pounds) heavier than the original Radian. I am now completely flummoxed as to how the designers/engineers at Horizon Hobby managed to make such a huge improvement in the performance of the Radian motor glider, given its slight weight increase over the original Radian.
E-flite Radian XL 2.6m BNF - RCGroups Review - RC Groups
Oct 10, 2016 · A 2m Radian or Radian pro can easily do 200m in 20-25s, the XL will not do that in 30s. It's perfectly fine for sport flying, but don't expect to have enough climb performance to be competitive at an ALES contest without some changes to the power system (again, unlike the 2m Radian which can fly ALES climbs just fine stock).
