In this work, CQSG was extracted from the surface of Chaenomeles sinensis (Chinese quince) seeds, and purified by DEAE-Sepharose Fast-Flow and Sephacryl S-400 HR chromatography; three fractions were obtained (CQSG-1, -2, -3).
