What to expect as a sophomore in SoCET? : r/Purdue - Reddit
Jul 15, 2022 · TL:DR; it's all about finding your niche there - there's almost always something you can do for SoCET, while learning about other subteams' work during the meetings. I'd suggest talking to Dr. J and the subteam heads about what they get up to to see what you think you could be interested in, and get involved if you think it's interesting.

SCALE SoC: SoC design, verification, programming, and test
Because of the wide range of projects, the experience and skill requirements for SoCET are flexible. Almost any kind of background in circuit design, logic design, circuit simulation, computer architecture, and microcontroller programming will be useful in some part of the team.
System-On-Chips - Purdue SoCet
Goal: AFT-X03's main focus was to create an SoC with basic functionality. The only supported. peripheral is GPIO. This was the team's first attempt at on-chip SRAM. The simplicity of the. chip allows us to focus on establishing a team design flow before moving onto more complex designs. Status: AFT-X03 is taped out and is currently under bring-up.
