Oct 22, 2020 · That would be a death sentence at 9.7 even if the gun was competitive. If placed at a lower BR, it wouldn't get instantly deleted by stabilized gocart tanks. The Object 120 already is capable of killing everything it meets so the PTZ-89 might be overkill but not game breaking. There are a few Chinese sources that say it has a two-plane stabilizer.

The PTZ-89 was designed to combat the introduction of Western and Russian MBT's that had new composites and all around thicker armor. In essence a Chinese object 120 it was designed to be a sniper and hit targets at ranges over 2000m. Crew: 4 (Commander, Gunner, Loader, Driver)

Sep 1, 2023 · While the 5 second reload rate of PTZ-89 seems satisfactory, it should be mentioned that after firing the 10+1 rounds in its autoloader, it takes about 5 seconds before the loader begins to fill the first ammo rack and every round takes more than half a minute. Apr 6, 2021 · PTZ-89 needs to be brought at highest veterancy so as to maximise first shot hit chance and limit the stun duration when under pressure from autocannons as it won't last long. It's obviously a second line weapon to sit in ambush positions or behind the front ready to move up to deal the damage when an expoitable opportunity arises.
