Jan 24, 2025 · Pour out the nasty water, dry the pocket knife good and use a hair dryer if need be, then oil with the ONLY OIL SAFE FOR KNIFE USE....MINERAL OIL. If you dont know already, mineral oil is the only safe oil for knives that may contact food. Scrub out the knife if there is still bad stuff inside, but the hot water should take care of all the oils.

Feb 9, 2024 · The leather sheath sans clip is square enough, that it doesnt shift much in the pocket. I do how ever take it out of the pocket to re-insert the knife. I sometimes wear German (repro) moleskin pants with a side 'pocket within a pocket.' With those pants, its easy to leave the sheath in the pocket and drawing/re-inserting the knife.
