We’re thrilled to announce the artist chosen for the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse Artist in Residence 2024 – 2025 is Darrin Milliner! Darrin Milliner is a self-taught artist, designer, and archivist of printed materials based in Pittsburgh, PA.

At PCCRI we provide dynamic, relevant, person-centered programs that provide opportunities for personal growth and inclusive community living.

PCCR received a request for help through a contact and currently has a team in the country. We plan to assist one of the camps in a town along the River Nile, near the Sudan border. The civil war in Myanmar has undergone escalations in recent months with intensified fighting.

Plain Compassion Crisis Response (PCCR) is a non-profit humanitarian aid organization that was formed in the fall of 2014 as a response to the refugee crisis in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq.

In October of 2022, PCCR responded to the crisis in Haiti, and out of the food distributions and the work in prisons emerged a need for a long-term solution for Haiti’s prisoners. There isn’t a single halfway house or any rehabilitation programs available for prisoners in Haiti.
