Feb 20, 2025 · I built the same Das Werk late G Panther a couple of weeks ago - And it was a joy to make, longer than 6 hours for me but nothing that had me cursing and shouting Anglo-Saxon at my tweezers! Yet still very well detailed.

May 18, 2021 · I'm about to start on the RFM Panther G (5018) after finishing the Tamiya 1/35 Panzer IV Ausf. F. Currently in the throes of deciding the actual vehicle to depict. Now the kit shows that Panther with a rear steel bogie wheel. It also shows with the Daimler-Benz Ambush Scheme. The images below show a Panther G '211' apparently in the Ardennes.

Jul 20, 2019 · Well my masking sets arrived, the disc camo one is as per the video, 30 x blocks of disc pattern, each approximately 1 inch square, all identical, then a strip of individual discs in 3 sizes to connect and randomise the camouflage pattern.

Oct 6, 2020 · Panzer Tracts 5-3 Panther Ausf.G I believe C50 represents the earlier cast and C53 the later welded. Either way they were bolted to the rear so @M3talpig is probably right in that you could have both mounted.

Nov 28, 2009 · I have made a start on Dragon's Panther G with zimmerit. Very impressed with the quality of the moulding and general fit of parts so far. I had been working on a Trumpeter Challenger 2 but it was giving me grief with some fit issues!(probably my own doing!) The one piece tracks look fantastic, check out the guide horn detail.

Aug 19, 2022 · The Trump 1/16 kits for what they are are superb (I have the Panther G Early & Pz IVH kits) and kits like this were unimaginable even just a few years ago and are a bargain compared to what Tamiya charge for their 1/16 range of AFVs which are aimed more at the RC gang than static armour modellers. Feb 8, 2025 · I might take the side skirts off as they are fouled on the tracks anyway, and almost all photos show the Late G Panthers "ohne Schurzen". I've gone fairly light on weathering, my thinking is this tank can't have been in service very long before being knocked out, or the war ended, so mainly just dirt and dust.
