The giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca), also known as the panda bear or simply panda, is a bear species endemic to China. It is characterised by its white coat with black patches around the eyes, ears, legs and shoulders.

After Dragon (The main antagonist of the series and the former guardian of the valley) became evil, Panda (baby Dragon's former friend to all, and leader of the Valley army) asked Heaven for help. Heaven responded by dropping baby Skunk into Panda's arms.
