Water gas shift (WGS) on Pt/TiN proceeds by the association of CO adsorbed on Pt with the adjacent hydroxyl on Ti sites. The superior catalytic performance of WGS on Pt/TiN arises from the improved H 2 O dissociation at Pt-TiN interface.
