NWCG Position Task Books (PTBs) have been developed for designated National Interagency Incident Management System (NIIMS) positions. Each PTB lists the competencies, behaviors and tasks required for successful performance in specific positions.

See the NWCG Incident Position Standards for Status/Check-In Recorder, PMS 350-32, for explanations of each task. Additional tasks that are not required to be evaluated are covered in the Incident Position Standards.
