Jul 16, 2023 · I sent my P229 Legion SAO off to The Sig Armorer for a carry level trigger job and Super Strut. Pistol came back with a good deal less creep (take up), a crisp repeatable break, very minimal over travel, and an overall much smoother feel.

Dec 15, 2022 · Your P229 will handle the +p 9mm with no problems. I prefer 124 grain bullets because I want more mass than the 115's for penetration. For me, I don't believe there is enough benefit from the added velocity of +P ammunition to offset the added recoil.

Oct 21, 2017 · The magwell is in Legion grey and looks great. Included in the package was a mag base pad in Legion grey with a note from TRT Tac President Remy Trotabas letting me know I would need to use the bases with Mecgar 18rd mags in order to get the benefit of the magwell. I thought this was pretty tremendous.

I have the same gun and my all time favorite holster that I keep coming back to gun after gun (I go through phases of what I like to carry) is the Milt Sparks Versa Max 2. However, at the time I got my P229, I could not find a VM2 anywhere and I tried the Hideaway from Ritchie Leather.
