Made a thing of ooze bombs once because someone said they worked good for infested mines, tried them out. Took forever to do any real damage, so we just did them the normal way and cleared the mine 10x faster.

Apr 1, 2021 · It's currently one of the most useless additions and could be cut from the game without a lot of backlash. A bow does the same thing but with better damage and easier use. That said, it doesn't mean they can't revise it or add new uses later.

Ooze bombs destroy everything in the frost caves, and are great for softening up groups of enemies like Fulings. You also don't get hurt by it, so you can throw it and then wade in to keep enemies in the cloud and add damage.

Ooze bombs not worth it? They seem very underwhelming. Anybody have a use case that makes them worthwhile? Against death squitos I've found these are genuinely the perfect tool.
