Aug 13, 2019 · It went up in 200s maybe even 300s. But now its negative 100. Again when skimmer is on. I didnt check probe for micro bubbles yet cause the tank is full of them because skimmer and no socks. During cycle. But my salinity probe is 1.0254 and hasnt changed. Its working with all the micro bubbles. But since day one. My orp has ended up negative.

Oct 26, 2024 · Make sure the probe cable is not near the power cable for the pump. Also make sure the probe is not near the pump. The current the pump draws can cause a inductive current in the probe or probe cable. This can also happen with other probes like pH and salinity.

Dec 6, 2017 · A drop on ORP indicates a death in the tank. Usually keep ORP around 350-400. If there is a sudden drop, it usually indicated a death in the tank. also if you do water changes, the ORP will drop for a moment. If your ORP is below 300, this usually indicated the sand bed needs replaced or through cleaning since it is dead.

Jul 26, 2014 · I bought a used PM 1 module to hook up a ORP probe. On the Fusion app it shows the ORP as 799 even when the probe isn't plugged in. I thought this was a probe problem so I received a new one, but I'm having the same issue. The status light is green and Fusion recognizes the module. I must be doing something wrong or the actual probe port is broken.

Apr 8, 2021 · The full Apex 2016 allows you to interchange the ORP port as a 2nd pH port. To do this, go into the list of Inputs, and enable the port named pH2. This will disable the port named ORP. Now just plug in your 2nd pH probe and calibrate it like normal.

Jun 25, 2019 · Thank you for posting this - very helpful to say the least. I purchased the ORP 2nd hand and it is still in the cap so I'm going to place it in the tank and follow the directions per the Neptune. Hopefully I will not have to calibrate it. I will order the calibration fluid from Neptune for the Salinity. Thank you again.

May 22, 2017 · The ORP probe has been a little inconsistent with readings drifting upwards so I decided to replace the probe. I read it was best to place the probe in your sump for a couple days before installing it so that’s what I did. However, when I fully installed it yesterday, the ORP reading is showing zero in Fusion.
