The Obiekt 277 was a standard heavy tank design. The hull was based on the T-10M, but elongated and more curved. The 277 carried the 130mm M-65 cannon. The gun was stabilised with the "Groza" system and was attached to a TPDS stereoscopic rangefinder sight. [1]

Oct 14, 2018 · So, depending on playstyle and player skill, the IS-7 is definitely the better choice for newish players or players that find themselves out of position more often still. 277 is definitely a tank for vets and the better part of the playerbase.

The Object 277 proved to have some of the best armor, firepower and mobility of any heavy tank at the time, with its 130 mm gun capable of threatening modern main battle tanks.

The Object 277 is a Soviet tier 10 heavy tank. Developed in 1956–1958 at the Kirov Plant, Leningrad, under the supervision of Joseph Kotin. Two prototypes were produced and underwent trials from 1959 through 1960.

Sep 6, 2022 · Obj. 705A is pretty simple. Sidescrape, do 650 damage, have comparatively bad DPM and flexibility. Obj. 277 is tricky. Rush in, remember that you forgot to bring allies, die. Haven't played the IS-7, but I am a pretty big noob. Hated the 277 because it always gave me enough rope to hang myself with.

277 is the better tank if you focus on learning how to play it properly (T-10 should set you up for it). It’s also a really popular tank for clan wars if you want to get into that. IS-7 can be more fun sometimes since you can make dumb pushes and somehow end up surviving.
