Nordette is a monophasic combined oral hormonal contraceptive (pill). Each tablet contains two female hormones: levonorgestrel (a progestin) and ethinyloestradiol (an oestrogen). Each blister contains 21 tablets, each containing the same amount of progestin and oestrogen. This pill should be taken for 21 days, followed by a break for 7 days.
